Q : What is Positive Initiatives?
R : Positive initiatives is the community platform for accelerating positive transformation.
We want to contribute to change and to the construction of a more ethical, responsible and sustainable world, based on a positive economy that respects the environment and people. Thanks to our platform, we enable the actors involved in this approach to accelerate the development of their projects and increase their IMPACT on the world. We want to promote and accelerate social and environmental progress.
Our mission: to inspire and enable everyone to change the world, by becoming an actor of social and environmental transformation. #ActForChange
Positive Initiatives allows all those involved in this approach to list their organisation, products and services. Publish job offers and internships, and present the volunteer missions offered by associations and foundations. To present events related to these themes. And via Le Mag, to share information on environmental and societal issues and to highlight initiatives and solutions to build a more sustainable and responsible world.
Q: What is Sustainable Development?
R : It is a development that is part of a long-term vision that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet theirs. This type of development takes into account three dimensions: economic, environmental and social/societal.
Q: Where are Positive initiatives based?
R : Positive Initiatives was created in the Annecy area in Haute-Savoie (74), France, but we want to develop our projects on a national and international scale.
Subscription & Registration
Q Who can submit projects to www.positive-initiatives.com?
R : Any organisation involved in social or environmental progress can present its organisation and its projects on our platform. Associations and foundations, NGOs, but also companies, local authorities, national and international institutions, scientists, authors or journalists, etc... All actors committed to sustainable development are welcome on Positive Initiatives.
Q : What are the conditions of membership?
- For non-profit organisations, membership of the platform is free. Associations and foundations can make a voluntary donation to support our organisation and participate in the development of the Positive Initiatives ecosystem.
- Companies can publish their job & internship offers free of charge on the platform. To have access to the other services (The Mag, Directory, Events), companies must take out an annual subscription. The membership fee depends on the size of the company (based on the number of employees). By becoming a member, companies participate in the development of the ecosystem and support our approach to accelerating positive transformation.

Q : Can individuals join or become members?
R : In our first phase of development, individuals cannot become members, but this is a feature that will undoubtedly be proposed in the future in order to encourage exchanges and interactions within our ecosystem.

Q : Is it possible to get a membership invoice?
R : When you register and pay online, an invoice is automatically generated and sent to the contact email you entered. If you have any problems with the invoice, please contact us: firstname.lastname@example.org
Q : Is the payment secure?
R : Yes, the payment is totally secure via the Stripe payment module.
Q : What payment methods are available?
R : At the moment we can handle credit card payments, but if your company has problems paying by credit card, we can also open an account manually and send you your receipted invoice upon receipt of your payment by cheque or bank transfer.
Q : What do I do if my payment method expires?
R : If the credit card registered for your subscription expires, at the time of renewal you will receive an email inviting you to update your payment method.
Q : How do I cancel my subscription?
R : If you do not wish to renew your annual subscription, we invite you to send us your cancellation request 30 days before the anniversary date.
Q : What kind of content can I publish in The Mag?
R : You can publish any type of content related to societal & environmental progress. We welcome a very wide range of topics on our platform. We reserve the right not to validate/publish an article that does not respect the values promoted by Positive Initiatives or that is part of a pure greenwashing approach.
Q : I am a concerned citizen, can I publish content?

Q : How do I publish an article about a book / film / video / podcast?
R : Send us all the elements in question and we will take the time to publish your content if it is in line with the values we defend.
Q : Can you explain what Act For Change is?
R : Act for Change! is the signature / baseline that accompanies our logo, because we are convinced that it is through ACTION that we will be able to change the course of climate, environmental and societal issues.
The Act for Change! section of the magazine presents individual action plans to change our behaviour and consumption habits and help everyone to adopt a more responsible and sustainable approach. Everyone can act at their own level and make a contribution. TOGETHER, we have the power to change the world!
Q : What is the purpose of the directory?
R : The Directory allows us to reference the committed actors who are working to build a more sustainable and responsible world. By mapping the ecosystem of #Change_Makers committed to this virtuous approach, we hope to develop interactions between the various players and accelerate the development of solutions.

The publication of job offers, internships & volunteer missions is free of charge, whether you are in the non-profit sector or in the commercial sector. But your offers must be related to the sustainable development or social economy sectors.
Q: How can I promote my offer?
R : If you want to put an offer forward, send us the title of the offer and we will give you the procedure to follow.
Q: How can I delete an offer that has already been filled?
R : If you wish to delete a vacancy, send us the title of the vacancy in question and we will do it for you.
Q: What is skill-based sponsorship?

Q: How do I edit my content?
R : To modify content you have published on the platform, you must log in again.
Once you are logged in, go to the page of the content you wish to edit.
At the top of the page, you will see "Edit..." with a pencil icon.
Click, a content modification form will allow you to modify your article / event / job offer or your Directory record.
We will proofread/validate your changes, and your content will be updated quickly on our platform.
